For our new players - How to learn new skills and actions quickly!

Hello everyone. So I've seen a lot of questions from our wonderful new crowd of players (i love you guys!) about how to go about learning new skills. I thought I would make a post about it so that it would be answered all at once. For any new action or skill you wish to learn, you can learn from a library book or something similar to a library book as your teacher. You do not need to learn it from another player, or by yourself.

For example, you can learn fortitude from the book of war, and shamans can learn their skills from "stoney." if you are unsure of what book or teacher to select, then just ask and we will help you. Generally though, the books will sound like they belong to the same genre of the skills you can learn from it. Herbalism can be learned from wilderness survival for example.

Every single skill and action can be learned through a book or npc teacher up until you reach level 7, then you are on your own or you must learn it from a higher level player. There are two exceptions to this rule: One, you can never, ever learn a specialty action from anyone. You must always learn it on your own. Your character is honing his own skill in that, and it cannot be learned or taught by anyone else. Two, you cannot learn racial abilities from a book, but you can learn it from another player.

Just thought that would provide some help and guidance!

Bump ^_^

And one edit to above. You can learn a specialty action from another player, but that player must both have that skill learned -and- have it specialty actioned themselves, in order to teach that specialty action to another.
