A parade in the making.

A familiar if not rare noise as of late can be heard coming from the direction of the Baumgarten farms. After several minutes of loud calls from a friendly voice, the barrel laden cart drawn by the mousey brown mare crests the hill top. The face of the man aboard is kind and clearly happy to see town. The mare trots through town as if on parade and circles the Shady Corners Inn on it’s way to the side door.

Jeb disembarks from the cart and begins unloading his newest casks of Baumgarten’s finest.

Taklinn comes to the door of the tower upon hearing the squeal of the wagon wheels.  He looks back into the tower with an agitated glance, and looks back at the unloading with a look of longing and a sigh.  "Well one thing at a time, though it would be nice ta sample the new batch of holy water."  He continues to watch the unloading and grumbles every few minutes, before finally losing his temper and returning to the practice dummies and taking his frustrations out on them.

Rasiri fades out of the shadows in the corner of the tavern he was left in.  He then looks around and heads over to jeb and eyes him suspiciously.  "I thought that the farm vas gooone."  He then grabs two mugs and puts a few silver on the counter and fills up the glasses with the new booze and heads off to Taklinn. "Hello Seer Talkinn, i saw you eyeing theeeese beer, vould you like a glass? It es on me." He holds out a mug.

Taklinn eyes the Uordeq suspiciously before he reaches a hand out to retrieve the ale.  He then sniffs the ale and dips a finger in the concoction, examining the foamy head's consistency and depth, then sticking the finger in his mouth and sampling.  He then takes a long draw from the mug and swishes the ale about in his mouth, getting foam and dribble all down his beard, and then tilts his head back violently and swallowing the ale.  "Ahhh, tis a passable brew, this Bumgartner stuff.  Mind ye it ain't quite dwarven, but it ain't too bad."  He then drains the rest of the mug with one long pull, and looks back to Rasiri, as if he forgot the Uordeq were even there.  "Well thank ye lad, tis good to have a drink after so much goins on here recently."  Eyeing the remnants of some bruises and cuts on Rasiri's face he says "Well it seems the rumors are true, and ye learned not to meddle in the affairs of Wizards.  A valuable lesson ye learned lad, and with no real harm done but some scrapes and a rearranged nose.  Heck I had a kinsman once, Bralin Stoneshield, who once raised the ire of a mighty wizard.  They say that the wizard turned his beard inta a nest o' spiders and he died from shame as much as from fear of the illusion!"

Glimmer sees Jeb outside the tavern andruns up excitedly saying "JEB JEB JEB!!!  What happened to you?  Everyone said you were gone.  Where'd you go?"

Atasatch comes over to where Tak and Ras are standing. He eyes both of his friends curiously but stands al least three arms lengths away from where they are standing. He looks to Taklinn. "I am in need of training my dear friend, it seems as if the thick fur of the wolf can no longer protect me as well as i thought it could and so I seek the training needed to wear armor. Do you think you could aid me in such task?" Atasatch asks his voice more hesitant than usual.

Taklinn looks away from Glimmer as Atasach asks for training.  "So elf, it seems that yer needin' the help o a dwarf after all.  Aye I can teach ye a bit about armors and the like, and make sure that ye can still fight while wearin it."  Come back ta me tomorrow when the sun comes up and I'll show ye a few things."

Atasatch bows to his companion. "Thank you my dwarven friend, I eagerly await my training." Atasatch turns away and walks off to his cabin griping the fang in his hands in a subtle manner. He lets loose a long breath as he continues to walk off into the woods.
