Poof goes the potion.

Bubbling noises come from the inside of Thomnlyn's home. Suddenly you hear "OH FUCK" come from the inside of the hut. Next then you see is a giant tree where Thomnlyn's home once was.

Rasiri walks out of the forest slowly trying to take in the scene. "Hm, nice tree and has good shade but I can't help but think this was the goal." He pokes his head around the tree and starts looking for the one responsible.

As Rasiri walks around the tree, He doesn't see anyone around. He does notice that in some points sticking out of the tree, that look like a house used to be where the tree is.

Rasiri gazes up and squints against the light coming through the branches. "HEY!" He calls, "Anyone up there?" Rasiri shakes his head and mutters, "Talking to freakin trees what is wrong with me... hold it together Rasiri." He turns his back and begins to walk away.

As he turns to walk away, Rasiri notices Blaise approaching tentatively. "So...am I correct in thinking this was your work, Rasiri? I'm almost certain this tree wasn't here 60 seconds ago."

"Oh, I'm sure it is. He was just talking to it after all." Sniped a chipper voice. Spyder flitted into view, a bushel of frogs dangling from one muddy fist. They dangled by their legs, squirming to get away from the Unseelie and whatever she had in store for them.

Grumbling is heard from down the path as Volrog approaches the Jastrians, grumbling to himself as he's lost deep in thought while staring at a map. When he moves into the shadow of the tree, his brow furrows and his tusked jaw drops as he notices the tree in place where his little-horned friend used to live.

"Wot da zog happened 'ere? And where dat tree come from?"

The Scargrim looks back towards the Crimson Quarter, not too far off, and shakes his head.

"I'mma go get an axe, yous lemme know if ya sees Thomhorn around, tell 'em dis tree stole 'is house, an' we'z gettin' it back!

Rasiri looks around at the People now assembled. "Well this isn't my style. I am not really that much for nature... I was only talking to this tree because i heard a voice before it appeared." Rasiri glances around and then walks over and pokes the tree. "Hey! Anyone in there!?" Rasiri shouts at the tree. "For once i might be inclined to agree with the Angori, whoever it is might be caught in there. I am not crazy i swear."

Everyone gathered around the tree hears Thomnlyn's voice from inside the trunk. " Yes there is someone in here. But something strange is happening. I feel different somehow. and what ever you do don't chop down the tree. I feel tethered to it somehow.

Blaise's visage flickered for a moment as if he were confused, but he regained his composure quickly when he remembered that stranger things have happened in Jastrey. He raised his voice and spoke in the direction of the tree, "Thomnlyn! You feel different...how, exactly? Are you trapped?"

The redhaired Ixifar pauses, staring with confusion at the surrounding trees. "I was certain he said after the third large oak..." she mumbles, glaring at the natural scenery surrounding her.  Then, just ahead, she hears voices.  Tilting her head, she is positive she hears one or two familiar voices.  Taking a breath, confidenty that she was no longer lost, Althena hurries in the direction of the voices.

Her confusion is complete as she sees a group surrounding a rather tall, odd looking tree.  It is to that they are talking to.  Glancing about, she spies an Angori she recalls from a previous mission, involving a rather sleepy tarrasque walking away, muttering something about an axe and a house-stealing tree.  Shaking her head, wondering at what new mayhem she has gotten herself into, the Ixifar steps nearer the group, trying to figure out what all the confusion is about.

Deleted. Double Post.

No sooner than they were told not to chop the tree down did Spyder start picking at the bark, using her nails to pry small pieces off. She appeared engrossed in it, not paying any mind to the others for the moment.

Given that no response had yet come from the tree (Blaise felt like a lunatic just entertaining that thought in his mind), Blaise turned his attention to Spyder's peculiar behavior. "Erm, Spyder. I'm not so sure that's a good..." the ifrit stopped short when he remembered that Thomnlyn was a Paladin. This will be hilarious, he thought, as he sauntered up next to Spyder and drew his Pale Ivory saber. "Mind if I join you?" he chirped, and began to scrape small pieces of bark with the edge of the blade and offering the pieces to Spyder with a gesture.

As Blaise starts to scrap bark off of the tree, a hand with gree tinted nails shoots out of the tree. "What did I say about not chopping the tree?" From the Tree out steps a semi-familar figure. He is clothed in green and brown rags with leaves woven in around his waist. A bare chest and a green mowhak with green shading around his eyes are the primary features you see.

"Spyder is fine on how she is picking the bark, she is only taking the outermost layers which is already dead. But using a blade, musch less it being pale ivory, is not something you do to one's tree. a blade cuts too deep and can cause infection." He pushes the blade back towards it's owner.

Seren walks towards the noises he heard, finding the new tree in place of Thomnlyn's house.

"What a beautiful tree."

He walks around it, taking in all of its beauty, seeming to ignore everyone around it. Seren pauses and looks around for a moment.
"Wait... Where's Thomnlyn?"

Only slightly startled by the emergence of the semi-recognizable Thomnlyn, Blaise smiles, sheathes his saber, and bows. "I apologize, my friend. I meant no disrespect, of course." He looks around at the small crowd now gathered around. "Well, I believe I'll take my leave. We've loitered around Thomnlyn's new tree house long enough, I'm sure."
Blaise bows once more, turns on his heels, and walks briskly away.

Confused, Althena steps nearer, carefully eyeing the unfamiliar form that has emerged from the tree.  Glancing over at Seren, she says with a shrug, "I had hoped to find him here as well."  Turning back to the green creature, she remarks, "Has a new tenant come to reside within his tree?"

"Nope, this has always been my home. For I am, Thomnlyn." Thomnlyn says with a slight grin as he turns to face Althena and Seren. "A failed expirment caused this to happen to me.  Though it seems the recipie has been intragrated into the tree."

A slight disapproving look crosses the Ixifar's features she looks from Thomnlyn to the tree.  "So, an explosion?" she asks as she turns back.

"You got in trouuuuuuubleeeeee..." The fae hissed at Blaise in whisper that wasn't exactly subtle. When he left she stared after him for a few seconds, swept her eyes over the gathering, and then promptly returned to picking at the bark as if they didn't interest her enough to stop. After a moment though, as Thomnlyn mentioned that it was an experiment that changed his home, she managed to snap off a piece of bark as large as her hand. She held it and turned it over in her hands as if contemplating it deeply.
