I'm so sorry! Once my lil' pup got off the bus, I got on my couch and passed right out. Need that nap.
So... The fracture is fairly cleaning looking (Dr. Bark, not me) and oddly enough they want to do surgery within 24 hours. I'll see them again around 1030, and the three things they'll attempt in order are:
1. Wiggle my little toe until bone moves back in place then cast
2. Put in a wire to help temporarily get the bone to fall back into place to heal proper
3. Two screws to hold the damn bone in place, involving a legit incision (open/invasive) then cast
While in theory the archaic "punch bone back in place, works good" is still considered sound medical science (these people scare me) these days, from what I saw on the "live action quick xray machine" said is clean but be difficult to do. I just sat their and freaked while Doctor-face was using the most dudish bed side manner I ever got. I know these captains are young, but damn you know? Hard for me to take these guys seriously when they be all giggly and stuff. At least the ocs cadet is a long taber, hopefully he or a civilian will get the job done.
I've read y'all replies, thank you so very much! Glad to know I wasn't the sole "self injure" person/Ulf in the history of SoO. And forgot some athletes have gotten themselves hurt, either cause legit or being a dumbass. For me, I feel like I'm the later.

Very pleased I'll get to stay a bit longer, and my commanding officer called me today to say she's very upset that my foot requires surgery and that she's moving forward with my extension to remain in state until I make a full recovery. So everything will be taken cared of from their end.
Megan, I'm super totes professional mlgPrO cereal soldier face. But I joke so much at work that I got no idea why anyone takes me serious out there :/ then again when medical folks joke, I assume for bad reasons. While in reality (after chatting with a few combat medics) it's that dark humour and past experiences that helps then get throughout the day. I was just in the moment of shock seeing that huge distance and split of my bone that I took everything personally. So tomorrow will be better.
