Post-Event Hindpaw Injury or Putting the Bitch Down 3

So I've placed an update on my fb wall but feel I still need to close it out on here.

I'm getting better, worried but getting better. I was out after I got in a comfortable position on the surgery bed. A lot more professional than last time I went under. I was fighting the meds like crazy! Just watch a video of a large breed of dog going through the stages of being tranquilized. Everything sped up, I felt sluggish, my eyes demanded sleep but my brain was like "you gotta watch this or else your leg will explode!" Thankfully I was knocked out, I'm just in a lot more pain. I thank my mom for the whole higher pain tolerance, but still hate it cause it makes me believe I don't need meds until I jump from a 5 to a 10 on the pain scale and nearly faint cause I needed to use the bathroom. I got the meds working, so just taking them regularly. I'm seeing my unit one last time tomorrow, and I inadvertently trolled them by being completely myself in civilian attire. So if my new top wasn't informed, well now he is. Done.

I'm gong to be on convalescent leave (paid, medical leave of absence from work) for thirty days. So I'll visit Orn in July if my hindpaw can take it and I'm carpooling. I legit can't drive no where :'c between the meds and das boot/what my paw be looking like. If anyone is curious how I'm feeling later on, hit me up and I'm more than happy to say what's going on. Sorry I'm not in tavern chat. Love you all, and special thanks to Megan for being the best chauffeur and for Beard not weirded out by the random girl time. And the fried pickles. And the Dr. Pepper.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!  So will you be wearing an orange headband next event?

Hope you mend quickly, Annie.  And, yeah, orange band next event.  You can still play, but won't have to race around knocking evil foes aside (and they can't do likewise to you, too!).  And...Kudos to Megan for helping you be more comfty on ride home.  Cramped in a small car would have sucked!

As always my car and time is available to you should you need. Including carpooling up to Orn in July ;) I enjoyed our random girly time and when you are freed from house arrest I'd love to do it again.

Morgan: <3 Orange headband?

Sheila: Oh! Then yes, I'll be wearing an Orange headband :3 my partner placed me on a "You're staying within eye sight of me at all times for a week" so fml :| But plus side is I'll recover enough to be at the next event, and hopefully as a slow moving, non-threatening npc.

Megan: I do not have any wishes or boon to give you for everything you've done for me. Your friendship, and being so dang close to my home is an incredible blessing in my life. Sucks I got injured before I got to hang out but meh.
