Raises for Plot Members

Until now, the "pay rate" for plot members has been 15 boon per event. This was originally based upon comparison to a normal, non-boon-enhanced character progression, with the goal being that a plot member would receive enough boon to keep his or her character on par with the other characters in play while serving on plot.
 
However, this original calculation didn't take into account accelerated character progression. Point in fact, if Nick were to convert all of his boon from season one and season two so far and create a character with it, that character would be just barely 8th level with no treasure to his name, a far cry from the 10th- and 11th-level PCs who've been playing just as long.
 
Now, there's something to be said for the privilege of participating without paying and the fun of killing PCs, but when you get right down to it, plotting is hard work. The planning, collaboration, and coordination needed to pull it off go above and beyond the time spent at the game itself. The bottom line is, these folks make the game happen, and Nick and I have decided they need a more appropriate reward.
 
Thus, starting today and applying retroactively, all full-time plot members will receive 20 boon per event. If all of this boon is applied to character advancement, it puts plot members roughly on par with a fully fast-tracked character progression. Plot members are, of course, welcome to give away their boon, exchange it for treasure or fate stones, or what have you, but it ensures that if the one thing they really care about is character advancement, they won't be short-changed by serving on plot.
