Rasiri saunters into the tavern and takes his seat at the bar.  "One more for the road Barkeep, i need to go looking for someone."  As Rasiri kicks his feet up and drinks his drink he leans back and looks around the tavern for the man he seeks.

As leofrick walks in with pipe in hand, he notices Rasiri standing at the bar. "Well the letter said that he would be standing at the bar, that must be him." Leofrick then procedes to walk up to Rasiri.

Rasiri turns slowly to Leofrick. "I have noticed you in town... and you don't seem to have a place or group in this town yet so i am doing the thing i always do. My name is Rasiri Formerly of house Cassitran here to make your aquantiance." Rasiri bows low and smiles. "You are Leofrick aren't you?"

"I am Leofrick of the house of Von Engirburgh, and what do you mean by formerly a Cassitran?" Leofrick moves to Rasiris' side and orders a drink. "So, what is it that you wished to speak to me about, it must have been important if your sending letters to a renegade like me."

"Renegade? Then we already have something in common. I was a Prince, but i was too nice for my station so i was cast out of my family. You just seem like you are missing a place and you remind me of myself in a way. I would like to help you out. Maybe teach you a few thing like i used to... take you under my wing so to say. I used to be an Assassin like you, and this old soul would like to take a bit of pity on you. Plus with you being at my side you will catch a lot less grief from the town, i have a decent reputation." Rasiri looks over at Leofrick. "Plus a man like me gets a bit lonely when i have few people to talk to and even fewer to trust."

"Take me under your wing you say, well that's not a bad offer your throwing my way my friend. Only one person other than has offered me that I've never regretted it." Leofrick looked up from his drink and looked at Rasiri with a look of deja vu. "You seem oddly familiar by the way, have we met somewhere before I came into town, you seem to fall into my past in some way but I'm not quite sure where, would you know?"

"Well what is your clan name, i might have seen you around or at least heard of you..." Rasiri gets very quiet and contemplative.

"I am of the Clan name Engirburgh, the name Von Engirburgh was used after I was born. My family markings are blood tears as my mother called them." Leofrick turned to Rasiri. " Does this help you with anything?"

"Engirburgh..." As Rasiri says the name his eyes drift off into the past and he sees a throne room when he was a much younger man and a tall Uordeq man with a sigil of Bloodied Tears on his doublet and armor holding a light skinned uordeq baby with tear like eye markings.  He remembers the man drop to his knees with this newborn in his arms and cry forgivness to his father and even in Rasiri's memory this is painful.  Aleksi sat on his throne like he always did and commanded his power through his voice. "kill the mother and never let me see this abomination in my lands again and maybe you can come back into my arms... if you don't you'll die." and the man got up and ran for his life... rasiri never saw that man again.  "You... You i do remember you!" Rasiri looks up at Leofrick and smiles. "You really are an outcast, just like me.  This really will be a good partnership if you choose to accept it."

Leofrick looked at Rasiri with a confused look while Rasiri spoke to him. "Rasiri, do you really remember me?" Leofrick finished his drink and gave the barkeep his glass and turned back to the nobleman he was conversing with. "Where do you remember me from Rasiri?"

"I... i was in the court when you and your family were banished... I saw your father threatened for you. I was there when your father spirited you away. I was actually one f the ones that helped your family escape." Rasiri smiled sadly as he gazed at Leo. "Last time i saw you you were a only a few days old. Your father was a very brave man to stand up for you the way he did, even i am hesitant to stand up to my father. Whatever became of him?"

"My Father? Well that's a story all on it's own. You see, after my mentor Frendel died, I went home to find out they disowned me and he had another son with my mother and she too, had abandoned me. I waited for night to fall, and snuck into the home I used to sneak out of as a child, I made my way to ther room and killed them in their sleep, took their heads, and took them to the room my so called brother slept. When he finally woke up he noticed their heads sitting next to his, when he noticed me I set the home ablaze. But now in retrospect of my actions may have been a little overdone." leofricks' face looked the kind of sadness that a child all alone would have had as tears ran down his face. "What have I done Rasiri?"

Rasiri has a shocked expression and sees the tears roll from Leo's eyes. "It's okay Little Lion, everything can be forgiven if you express your sorrow for it.  Even if you have been branded kingslayer by yourself and your peers people are still here for you. I can teach you to be like i am. And i can teach you to repent your evil ways and for your past actions. Come with me." Rasiri smiles and gives Leo a small short hug and puts his arm around his shoulder.

"Another drink barkeep." The barkeep dropped a bottle of whisky next to Leofricks' hand. " Rasiri I can't forgive myself for this, that is a sin that I can't be forgiven for." Leofrick then proced to down the bottle of whisky until there wasnt a drop left in the bottle. "Forgive me I'm a drunk and that's what I've been for a while now. So what was my father before I was born?"

"By the darkness of my soul." Rasiri raises a hand and a bolt of energy shoots out and smashes the bottle Leo is holding to pieces. "That part of your life is over Little Lion. All can be forgiven, one must know how. And your Father was a good man if ever there can be for an Uordeq. He at least cared for you like a father should, more than i can say for mine. and a good assassin, he worked well for my father."  Rasiri stops and ponders for a second. "Will you trust me for a second?"

"I trust the noble families as much as I should so I see no reason not to trust you, what is it you wish to speak of?" Leofrick took out a rool of black bandage wrappings began to bandage his hand up from the glass bottle that shattered from Rasiris' spell.

"By the light of the new dawn i heal you" Rasiri waves his hand over the back of Leo's. "i am going to test you for something, You feel diffrent somehow"  Rasiri then waves his hand downward over Leo's eyes and he starts to drift off into a deep sleep. "then he puts a hand on either side of Leo's head and closes his eyes.

The astral whirls around Rasiri as he stands.  He is flying and the world reels around him.  He sees Leofrick across the expanse of several worlds.

Rasiri opens his eyes and and gently shakes leofrick awake. "You really are unique. And a lot more like me than i thought.

"What was your purpose in doing that Rasiri?" Leofrick dug into his pouch and took his glass bottle of water and took a swallow. "And by what means am i more like you, I am slightly confused you see."

Rasiri looks at leo and smiles, "You have the sight, little lion. I can teach you more than i thought i could. Very few of us Uordeq have it, and as a matter of fact i thought i was the only one..." Rasiri trails off a bit then composes himself, "If you like i could teach you the magic of, Esprice and i know you are a bit attached to a blade but it will help out a lot, if you give yourself over to the power of the astral."

"Could you be so kind as to tell me what the Astral is?" Leofrick holds his head whilst his senses came back to him. "And by what do you mean give my power over to the Astral?"

"The astral is a plane of existance where dreams live and a land most only touch in their sleep but people like me and appearently you can channel it's power. We are the Mortals of this world gifted in the sight, and the power of the astral is nice, if unexplained mostly." Rasiri smiles a bit. "I have actually been there before in body and mind... it was amazing and wild and strange. A world where your dreams and thoughts and nightmares are pulled from you and made real... men get lost in it and go mad or love it so much they never leave. But i myself have resisted the temptation of both and i can teach you to do the same if you so wish.

"Ah, so what you are saying that i could eventually see what you see, and I could in time lose myself in it?" Leofrick looked at Rasiri with some thought, "Say If I wanted to follow you and you teach me the ways of Esprice, what then?"

"We become powerful together and i know the ways of the world. I can teach you to be powerful like me and be able to fend for yourself in this crazy messed up world. i know things and i can teach you not to get lost in your dreams... you have the sight, whether you like it or not the you have the power, i can teach you to make it into a weapon. What you do with it once i teach it to you is your buisness but i hope you will take after me." Rasiri winks at Leo and pulls his sword and incant "By the darkness of my soul" and the sword blazes to life with a savage white glow. "It can be very useful i promise you."

"I can't see nothing wrong with this offer Rasiri, I'll play your game." Leofrick stood, bowed to Rasiri, finished his drink and on his way out the side door of the tavern he turned back to Rasiri. "I'll be in touch with you again my lord Cassitran." Then Leofrick stepped out of the tavern and proceded to walk down the busy street of town and onwards to his camp.

Rasiri smiles and watches the Little Lion walk out of the tavern and kicks his feet up feeling a little less alone and orders another drink as he relaxes and rests.

The familiar sound of a low laugh drifts to the relaxing Rasiri from the direction of a hooded and masked woman in all black that just minutes before moved to a seat not far from him. Dark eyes encircled by strangely pale rings looked out at him from between the two pieces of black cloth. She had noticed him come in and begin to speak to the one called Leofrick she had met not terribly long before and, in turn, rose and moved closer, listening to part of the conversation.

"'My lord Cassitran...' Vell vell vell, and here I am simply impressed that you are still alife..."

A chuckle, low and hearty comes from the shadows of the tavern entrance.  "Aye Katri.  I was there the day that title was ripped from him.  What's wrong Rasiri?  The kindness in your heart differed then?  Last I saw, you were punished and beaten.  And it wasn't over your kindness as you so say."
Glimmer munches a cookie, tosses a few to Katri, and seems to shift into a different manner.  "UNCLE WREYYYYYYYYYYYYYYN.  I BACKS!  Come out come out wherevers you are!"

"Thank you, Miss Glimmer," Katri easily catches the cookies, and slides down her mask to begin munching on one. Her eyes were still on Rasiri and the corners of her mouth were turned up slightly in a smirk.

Rasiri turns to Glimmer and Katri and smiles, "Can't an uordeq have a bit of peace in this good tavern? I was banished for 'not doing my duty'. Mostly the fact that i won't kill in cold blood. I try to be kind.  But on a happier (or maybe sadder) note Hello Kat. How have you been? and Miss Glimmer! i have actually been meaning to talk to you and Ser Thalenir for quite awhile... now if only Garrith was here i could conclude all of my buisness at once!"  Rasiri's smile turns slightly sour but he stays smiling.

"Vell enough, Ras." Katri nodded slightly in his direction before proceeding to start on cookie number two. "I also suppose I vill need to talk to you privately later. Providing you recall vhat plans ve vere beginning to vork out?"

If Rasiri cared to notice, since she had had her mask up even in court when he was transported there, his sister's calm and relaxed face had taken on a resemblance to their father. Katri's face had begun to narrow and display finer features and her dark eyes shape become more pronounced, along with the small, straight Cassitran nose. He may also notice that her mannerisms were becoming more like Aleksei as well, though the air she carried was slightly different.
