Rules Update: Refreshing Special Actions

After much deliberation, we've decided to try out a different system for refreshing special actions. Whereas, in the old version, your actions refreshed automatically whenever the encounter, adventure, or day ended, you will now be required to rest in order to regain them. The benefit of this, of course, is that non-combative characters such as healers will be able to rest in the middle of major battles and refresh their actions regardless of the circumstances (provided the front-liners can defend them properly, of course).

With any luck, this should make it perfectly obvious when an action refreshes and make for a more fluid, active system. You can read more about the change under the new Rest common action and the Special Actions section of the rulebook. As always, let me know if you have any questions.
