Marloff returns from his chambers in the upper tower, carrying a long package wrapped in a thin goat hide tarp. Standing before the main table on the ground floor, Marloff holds the package in two hands, palms up, on outstretched arms. A short pause and a quiet chant to mark the moment and the package is softly laid to the table's surface. Slow, careful movements unfold the hide from Glyph, Rune's huge weapon. After one more thorough look over the sword, Marloff flicks away a bit of debris left by the spent mana.
Marloff smiles widely as the pride in his work makes its way to his face.
"Rune...? Are you within earshot? I have completed the enchant on your sword. It now holds 'Storm Brand'."
"Whew, really makes the hair on my neck stand up. It gives a bigger wallop than I had anticipated."
Marloff strains his eyes to peer out the door towards the defenseless tree, that still has little wisps of smoke trailing from it.
"You hit your mark well Rune and at a great distance too. Our time was wisely used. Wield it well my friend."
The construct comes out from behind a bookcase and quickly approaches the empyrean. "Excellent work Marloff. This one has been looking forward to it's completion." emit from the construct, afew decidble louder than normal. Rune picks up the monsterous adamant blade. The markings and runes along the length of the sword respond to the golem's touch. Rune levels the point of the sword towards the open doors of the Tower, and emits "This one commands the Aether." in a deep bass. Lighting arcs off the blade as it charges with the Aether's power and coverts it into pure electricity. After a moment, a thick whip of azure lighting flies from the blade's point, and cracks into a tree outside the tower. Rune holds the blade vertically, inspecting it as energy still races up and down the adamant, "Excellent indeed. Thanks you ."
