Searching for Something.

 Edrick, wild-eyed and intoxicated, called out from a stool by himself at the end of the bar: "Oi! If there be a sliver of gold involved I can track anything!". Following the reply, Edrick promptly tumbled off the bar stool into an unconscious lump on the tavern floor.

Zanna looks the drunken idiot up and down for a second or two then watches him topple to the floor. She then rushes over to the unconscious imbecile on the floor and looks down at him. "Are you okay??", she askes with a hint of sincerity in her voice. When he doesn't respond she gets a mug of ale from the bar and pours it on his head.

 Edrick remains near-motionless on the dirty floor of the tavern, save for licking the ale that was poured upon him from his moustache. He looks strangely at peace.

Zanna looks up to the ceiling and sighs heavily. "I know you're awake savage, so stop playing with me." She looks down at him and plucks a hair from his mustache.

 Edrick's eyes shoot open and he bolts to his feet. He eyes Zanna contemptously, giving her a stare that could wilt flowers. He snarls briefly, and without a word, he wanders off into the woods adjacent to the tavern.

Zanna rolls her eyes and chuckles to herself lightly then follows Edrick out the door and into the woods.
