The Shady Corner: Life returns.

The Shady Corner's Tavern is empty and lifeless. Much as it has been for the last six months. But now there are signs of life. Mugs stacked up. Freshly tapped barrels of mead from the Baumgarten Farm. Life has returned to Jastrey, and with it safety.

Heavy foot falls are heard echoing through the open door as a Dwarf enters. An axe over his shoulder and a stern look upon his bearded face, he surveys the empty room. Spotting a keg in the corned his face lightens to a cheerful smile. He slowly but determinedly walks across the room and props his axe up against the wooden barrel.

He fills his mug quickly and takes a drink as he looks about the room.

An Urdek enters the tavern a large over-sized sword strapped across his back, he slowly makes his way to one of the darker corners of the tavern where he leans against the wall watching the tavern carefully.

"I'm not locked up in with all of you, all of you are locked up in here with me!" Rorschach - Watchmen

Gecel greets Nevara and continues to drink happily. watching intently as she posts her note, Gecel lets Nevara leave before inspecting the posted writ. After mumbling to himself the words on the note, Gecel tromps over to the Keg, slams his mug down beside it and grabs his axe. Turning on his heals, Gecel storms out of the Inn heading in the direction of the healer's Den.

For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.

Sai (the urdek) walks over to the post and carefully reads it. he chuckles to himself before making his way over the keg to fix himself a drink.

The window next to the bar mysteriously and quietly opens as a hook attached to a string is tossed in like a pendulum attached to a grandfather clock. The hook lands with a slight ring as it hits its mark, the handle of a full pint of beer. As if some sort of magic keeps the frothy brew inside the mug it is slowly pulled toward and lifted out the window then up the side of the tavern to the roof. Garein unhooks his fishing lure along with string from the handle and then sips with a satisfied grin. He thinks to himself that if he is going to keep watch over this town then he is at least getting paid by the pint.....at least until he gets so drunk that he falls off this roof.
