Morag Rockbiter, the Hirsute Chanteuse, rolls up to the Town Post and tacks up a sheet of parchment and a charcoal pencil on a leather thong.
The parchment is labeled "Jastrey's Got Talent!? Sign-Up Sheet" and has two columns of blank lines. One is headed "Name" and the other is headed "Act".
Satisfied with her work, Morag dusts her hands on her kilt and steps back to examine the other messages on the post.
The dwarf turns to the angori druid.
"It be a sign up sheet for the talent show next mest. If ye want to show yer talent you need to make yer mark here and write down what talent ye'll be doin'. I can make the markings fer ye if'n ye don't know how," she says with a kindly smile.
Skipping out of the tavern, Kollista sees a small crowd growing around a post. In one short, hoplike movement, her skip turned into a light, scurrying jog. Hopping up on the back of her new Angori friend, she peers over his shoulder, "What's everybody a-lookin' at Ohren?"
Her eyes light on the parchment and she reads quickly with a squeak of delight. Dropping down from Ohren's back she claps her hands together once with a wide grin, "A talents show! How funs how funs!! Hmm... Ohren? What is 'Ohren stuffs' that you're gonna do?" As she questioned her friend, she had already taking up the charcoal pencil to add her own name in a very neat and not at all childish, slanting cursive scrawl:
Kollista Nightbane- Vocal performance, song as of yet undecided.
Leofrick leaves the throng of villagers to head to the tavern for a drink all the while listening to the villagers ducsuss their talents among each other. As he walks through the tavern to the corner he sits he pulls out a pen and ink as well as a piece of parchment to begin preparing his act.
Delvin sauntered out of the woods and up to the post, wide grin carving itself across his features as he read the recently tacked letter. "oooh, a talent show?" he'd inquire to no one in particular. "yes yes!" is all he'd say, a freshly dipped quill manifesting in his hands, no doubt from one of his many pockets. He scribed his name and beside it he would write, "Hurling a burl and elven ear wriggling"
The Empyrean Silver approaches the gathering of people slowly from where she had been walking in the woods. She smiled at the others as she appreached but it did not touch her eyes; they remained slightly distant and sad. "Did I hear correctly that there will be a talent show?" She walked through the group and examined the parchment. She then took her quill from her pouch and in her flowing script wrote upon the list.
Silver Dragoran - Vocal Performance
She stepped back and the small shadow of a smile crossed her face. "I shall have to try my best and prepare something wonderful for the occasion."
The little figure of Tregard Maynard approaches the town post. A large storage apparatus is strapped to his back; dwarfing the gnome. " NO! NO! The Angori Matriarchs were after the Fae Secretion Ring!" The bard jabs the papers in his hand at no one in particular. A chuckle is heard." Speaking of fae secretions, where's that trollop Snap-! A TALENT SHOW! A shrill scream is heard throughout town. We must perform! Its our duty. Nay, our calling
"Listen we don't have time for a talent show, I need to write down these stories. Merde! Tregard helplessly watches his hand write: TREGARD MAYNARD AND COMPANY :) ----MIND-BLOWING PERFORMANCE on the talent show poster
A sad-faced Tregard skips past the town post and into the tavern.
*a shadowy figure appears and writes his name on the parchment wuickly hiding the stick of coal back into his robes unseen and disappears around the corner leaving behind a flowing sharp script*
Cain- Oragami.
