Talsin is smiling but looks very tired. He looks around the bar and not seeing any of the Jastrey spirehorns he sets up his leatherworking tools and begins working on a new set of bracers. After working for a half hour or so you can see the shape of a unicorn being traced out in the leather.
((if Dagmar or any of the Jastrey spirehorn Angori wander in, Talsin will beckon them over for a chat))
As the sounds of a screaming Fae reach its climax, a bench can be heard falling over, with a grumbling Dwarf crawling out from under a table, where it appears he was sleeping contentedly. As Taklinn begins to stretch and grumble he looks over to the commotion, rolling his eyes when he sees the source of the shouting. "Durned Fae! Do ye need ta' be screamin' at the top o' yer lungs at every person that walks by? Lets see tha' reason fer yer outburst while I get meself a drink.'
The dwarf motions for a round from the barkeep, and walks over to where the pair are, looking at the Fae first and the Angori, and whats more the work that the Angori is engaged in over closely.
At the sound of Cormac screaming and Taklinn yelling in return, Glimmer flits abruptly into the tavern. Appearing quite disheveled and bit dingy around the edges, the Fae drops her mail bag onto the table where the Angori sits dilligently working on her bracers. She looks from the bracers to Cormac, smiles deeply, and says "I believe you mean mine. You'd best be served to find a horned one of your own volition with half as much talent as this one. His name is Talsin and I'm keeping him. Lay your claims elsewhere."
Glimmer then shouts to Taklinn as he walks towards the bar. "TAKLINN MY BEARDY FACED LOVE! I'm back now! All that silly mail mess has finally slowed down. Please PLEASE bring me a sip of something. Annd meet Talsin. And watch me win!" Glimmer plops onto the table, digging a bag of cookies and a second bag of candies out of her pouch. She dumps both bags onto the table and begins scooping the sweets into her face, cheeking them much as a squirrel would, as old habits die hard.
The familiar riven walks through the taverns doors, a thick layer of dirt covering his boots and pants. He looks about the tavern to see the fae speaking to someone he didn't know. "Poor soul," he whispered under his breath as he took a spot at a table in one of the far corners. He reclines back slightly as he pulls out his mirror to admire himself as he usually does.
Taken back a little as another fae is claiming what he immediatly thought to be his prize he turns his attention to confront the fae. However at the site of cookies an candy hitting the table his intial thougts immediatly change.
"I can have candy also! I will share Mr Talson with you its fair!" his eyes never stray from the candy and cookies upon the table.
"Talsan isn't owned by anyone. How very Unseelie of you to say." Glimmer eyes Cormac, then scoops the last of her cookies and candy into her mouth, not sharing a bit. Turning to Talsan, she speaks quietly. "Thank you for making these for me. They mean a great deal and will be worn with pride and honor as the blood of my enemies fall at my feet." Something shifts a bit wildly in Glimmer's eyes, but then she hiccups and offers the Angori a few cookies.
As Cormac made his comment you could see the smile fade from the Vorhex face as he gave the fae a hard look and shifted his tooling hammer toward Cormac. At Glimmer's word's some of the rage goes out of his eyes and he sets down his tools and stares out the window for a bit. In a few moments he returns to his work.
Feeling betlittled at the thought of being called unseelie Cormac flutters away in shame.
He returns after a few moments balancing a plate of cookies, 2 glasses of Gnome Juice, a pint of Angori mead, and a bowl of what appears to be stew. He places them in the middle of the table.
"I'm sorry but they are so pretty and we will leave and then i'll never see him again and maybe he'd make me something one day pretty also. I bring things for apology." As soon as he finishes the sentence the fae quickly perks up. "What if you come with us?:
"I have business in the Valley of Glass that I must attend to", Talsin takes the stew. "You should be more careful with your words here in Angor and slow down. Most angori would have killed you where you stand for claiming ownership over them and I have reason more than many having been enslaved for most of my life. You are lucky your friend Glimmer spoke quickly for you."
Talsin pauses and eats a few bites. "I will accept your apology. I may choose to come along. After being away for so long, I don't know if Angor is still the right place for me. I will make a decision once I have returned to my tribe. I have many questions to ask them. Do you know when your ship will sail and where she will be bound?"
"Good to know, hopefully I can make the trip there and back before you set out if I decide to journey with you."
Satisfied with how the image of the unicorn is coming along, Talsin dampens the leather and gets out an odd looking knife and begins cutting the pattern into the leather. "No, not an armorsmith. I work with leather for boots and belts and such with my tailoring craft and decorate them. I'm using the same techniques on this leather just to add the decoration then I've got to work with an actual smith to do the hardening or adding any of the metal bits."
"Well iffin' yer needin' an armorsmith ta' help ye, just seek me out. Taklinn Forgesplitter, of the Stormbringers, at yer service. I'll not breath over yer neck while ye work, so I'll take me leave ,but when ye've got it ready seek me out if ye have a need." he says eyeballing the quality of the work as he talks. With that he grabs his drink and heads back over to his table and continues drinking in private.
Damadar the Red Drakna kicks open the tavern door with a grunt, glancing around before storming over to Talsin, resting his Voulge against the wall and huffing as he plops down.
"Its been days and I've not heard shit about that thrice bedamned caravan arriving in town! I daresay we're not getting paid. I've half a mind to march back to the other shard and collect my pound of flesh, so to speak." He rumbles in his rather thick accent, eyes blazing with irritation where the light reflects off of them glinting under his hood.
He unclasps his tankard from his belt and produces a wine filled waterskin, pouring the latter into the former as he grumbles under his breath, completely ignoring the fae, and probably intentionally as well.
Talsin looks up at Damadar's entrance, "Hey Damadar, I was hoping you might drop in. That idiot merchant probably got jumped by scargrim or some other manner of ill fate befell him. I don't think we're going to see that coin." He switches tools and starts stamping out the pattern with his mallet. "If we run into him, we'll get our due and he'll get his for not payin' us." He pauses to inspect his work. "Soon as I finish this tooling, I'll be heading out to visit my birthplace in the Valley of Glass, you interested in traveling there with me? I was thinking I'd ask Truff, Barbaal and Dalagorn as well but haven't seen them since we visited the Wuumi camp."
Damadar takes a sip from his mug. "The valley of Glass hmm?" He looks into his wine at his reflection a moment. "Da, I suppose I could join you. I'll need to get provisions for the trip among other things." He muses, reaching up and itching some red scales on his cheek for a moment.
As Talsin strikes the mallet on the last bit of tooling for the unicorn bracers a slight red glow appears on the back of his left hand then fades and a tattoo appears.

"Well that about does it. Definitely time to seek out the elders. I don't understand why these tattoos keep appearing. Perhaps they can help me understand this." He gets up, looks around the bar and walks over to Taklinn. He hands the leather he's been working to Taklinn, "If you could work this into the bracers Glimmer was askin' for, I'll put the dye and finish on 'em when I'm done with my business in the Valley". With that he looks out the door hoping to spot the Jastrey spirehorns before departing. "Well Damadar, we'd best be on our way or we won't make it back before these folks sail off."
The Glittery fae enters the tavern already weary of angor and ready to leave when his eyes become drawn to the Spirehorns work.
"UNICORN!" The fae exclaims in a high shrill voice. He then flys over to further inspect the work. "You do unicorns! Whats price? I can sell for you. May i hold please please." The fae inches closer to the work as his barage of question and statements goes on.
