Things that go Bump in the Night

A shaggy brown garbed and green skinned figure can be seen lurking and galavanting along the edge of the farm land just inside the gates of Jastrey. Its motions are jerky and its hair ratted and matted with mud. Running along the edge of the forrest, it stops here and there, seeming to be picking up bones and guts, picking appart what remains of the corpses of the soldiers that littered the field from the battle not long passed and stuffing what ever gross oddities from the bodies it can find into an oversized black burlap sack. Cocking its head side to side, its nasty matted long hair flapping to and fro with its jerky motions, the goblin makes quick work of the corpses. Having gathered a huge sack full of entrails and remains, a slight high cackle is heard from the impish creature, dashing off and dissapearing off into the woods again with its prized sack of gore.

The grotesque and mud covered goblin peeks over the underbrush. Its eyes land on the target at hand, the food stores for the army of Ressik. Grinning wildly and mischeviously, the goblin bends over and pulls a small contraption from its bag, setting the sack of gore down without a sound. It sets the contraption over a small lanturn and lights the flame. Keeping the lanturn and any light given from it hidden under the contraption of solid black, the goblin looks behind to see its companion coming to meet it. Waving the other goblin over, the two watch quietly as they see the various soldiers come and go out of the tent dedicated for the mess hall. Peering around the food stores, they see a guard standing watch over the supplies. Finally, the goblin points out one of the soldiers that looks not all too smart, but makes up for it in muscle. The man was a beast of a soldier, and were it not for him being human, he could nearly be mistaken for an ogre.

The goblin looks to its companion and nods, signalling a ready. The goblin then locks its eyes on the beast of a soldier and waits for him to wander inside the mess hall tent right infront of the food stores. A few words are whispered from the goblins lips, waiting with a twisted grin forming wider across its lips (Named frenzy on the beast soldier).

The ogre of a man pauses as he steps into the mess, something didn't feel right to him.  It was the strange feeling of being watched, or that someone was talking about him, but it made him ill at ease.  An anger started to well up deep within him as another soldier bumped into him as he was trying to leave the mess area and return to his post.

Without thought, the large man grabbed the other soldier by the throat, and slammed him into a nearby table and proceeded to pummel him repeaditly.  Four other soldiers immediately sprang up from their seats in attempt to restrain the massive assailant, only to be beaten into submission as quickly as the first.

For several minutes, a frenzy ensues in the mess tent as the soldiers and guards attempt to subdue the man until the titan regains his composure.

The two goblins huddle hidden in the bushes until the guard goes into the tent to quell the fighting. Quick as lightening they take to their tasks. (OOP: Posting for Rasiri, because his interweb is teh suck). One of them goes straight for the open water and drinking stores, stuffing green slimey mud into any open casket it can see. It then quickly starts piercing its dagger into the closed caskets and water stores, making them pour and leak out of their barrels. The other goblin, bag of gore in hand, dashes off towards the dry stores. Making quick work, it slides its dagger through all the grain bags, opening them each with giant quick slashes. It then scatters and stuffs the gore into all the open bags and all about the stores, throwing it everywhere around the stores once the first goblin is done with its task. In a matter of minutes the stores are a disaster, the second goblin taking up one last barrel of ale and throwing it onto the meat stores (strength 2) to see it burst open across the packed slabs of flesh.

A burly soldier walks up behind the goblin as she tosses the barrel of ale over the meat stores, pressing his hand firmly onto her shoulder, grabbing hold of a little bit of hair in the process.  "Just what do you think you're doing, little goblin?"  He asks firmly while turning her around to get a good look at his captive.  Akon's red eyes stare back as he calls for more soldiers.

"Lookey, lookey boys.  I think I caught myself a little prize.  I wonder what the Field Marshal will give me if I bring in a live one?  Bring me a rope, I want this one to still be squirming when we bring her to the boss."

Another solider comes and slips a rope around Akon's torso and pulls it down tight enough to make it difficult for her to breath and then ties her hands together.  Once she's sufficiently restrained, they escort her to the tavern to be presented to Field Marhsal Douglas.

Akon's eyes flare up dangerously with hell fire sizzeling bright in her gaze as she locks eyes with the soldier. Her lips snarl in a sickening twist as her lips ready to part in a deadly encant to drop the soldier where he stood....then she coughs and gasps as the rope is thrown around her. Darting her gaze around and seeing the growing crowd, she chooses silence as her best weapon, and struggles against the soldier's confinements to cause a fuss and draw all the attention to herself until she is finally subdued. Coughing and sputtering, a hidden smile comes to her lips as she gives one last glance towards the edge of the woods, seeing the last of Rasiri's figure slipping away unnoticed as she is dragged away.
