Kirell enters the tavern and bellies up to the bar. ?Pour me two, and one for Thalenir, he should be in directly. Have you seen Kevass? I was hoping to find him here?.

"Well I have just been out to the farm and I am afraid neither Jeb nor Abigail has time for their former council position.
I have been spreading the news as best I can but it would probably be best if an official missive of some sort detailing the outcomes of the meeting was posted. You could include the time of the next council meeting and ask for any volunteers to who wish to represent the general populace to come forward then.
...you do seem busy though. I hate to add this to your load. If you would like, I could draft something up that is akin to the announcements the council used to make; then you could simply edit it, if it would save you some time?"
Thalenir raises his eyebrows. "Funny you should mention it." He reaches into his pile of papers and pulls out a piece of parchment. At the top, in ornate script, are the words, "Election Results." He places it on a nearby table and begins to make edits with his quill. "Thank you for letting me know about Jeb and Abigail. I will be sure to note the additional vacancy."
After a moment, he picks up the paper and blows on it gently to dry the new ink. "I'm not sure how things were handled before, but I do hope it's to your liking. Please feel free to keep me apprised of any mistakes of procedure I might make."

Nevara smiles and nods. "Well like I said, I am open to change as long as it is supported by town and serves to strengthen us. I am pleased to see you are committed to keeping the town informed. I won't delay you further but please let me know if I can help with anything."
Thalenir smiles and nods. "I'm glad you approve, and thank you for the offer. It's always comforting to have your support." He gives a slight bow. "By your leave, Nevara." After a brief incantation, he vanishes in a flash of blue light, only to reappear in similar fashion next to the town post to affix his missive.

Thalenir walks into the Shady Corner with a bundle of scrolls, ink, and quills under one arm. He takes a seat near Kirell, unfurls his papers, and begins to write, ordering a cup of tea without looking up.
"I hope you'll excuse me for bringing my work with me," he says absently to Kirell.
