Akon walked up to the town post elegantly, her hood down as she unfurled a rather finely crafted roll of parchment. The paper itself was of royal quality in smoothness and design, which she delicately placed upon the town post. She tacked it there neatly with a few nails and a bit of light hammering before stepping back and nodding. She turned from it, holding a pouch at her side as she continued on to the tavern.
The post read:
To the town of Jastrey and the Fae community,
Many mests ago, I publicly obliterated the body of a kind and beautiful Fae in utter disregard to her proper burial rights in blatant disrespect to the beautiful creature she was. It was horridly naive and grievous act on my part, to cause her body to suffer something she never in life, nor death, should have ever experienced. Though I hardly expect a bit of paper and ink to make up for the act's grievous nature, I am posting this for all to see as my formal and public apology for performing it. In humble sincerity,
Akon of Clan Nivarian
Leofrick watched the shaman leave the post on the wall and proceded towards the note. After reading the notice Akon had left for town to read he spoke in his head. "Now I thought I would never see this in my life when Lady Nivarian apologize for anything she did."
Glimmer flits quickly out of the postal station at the back of the tavern. She's seems to be be rushing; pouch thrown across her body half heartedly. She flits by the town post and falls dead out of the air, landing with an "OOOWWHEEEE!" She looks up at the post and quickly scans Akon's writings. She stands, drops her hands to her side and hangs her head. Looking back to her station, a single tear falls, and she flits up the road quickly, and more determined than ever.
The small, darkly dressed figure of Katerina can be seen approaching the post. As is typical, her face is hidden beneath hood and mask, though there is no question of her reaction to the post left by Akon once she reads it and the response written in the familiar handwriting of a former dwarf. The young Uordeq seems to stop, somewhat surprised before bursting out into low-pitched and highly amused laugh, it's dark melody carrying well. Shaking her head slightly, she mutters to herself, "I can't wait to hear about this little antic..."
With a last chuckle at the notice and at Blisdon's clearly angry response, the woman turned away and began to walk toward the road out of town.
Finian sees the reactions of both his fellow citizens of jastrey and goes up to the town post curiously to see what words could cause such a broad spectrum of emotion. Finian carefully read the ornate parchment and pondered on the words a moment before producing his own stationery and writing a reply.
"These words are as lifeless and superfluous as the paper they are written on. Until you renounce the dark arts there will be no end to these atrocities for even those with noble intent bring darkness with their actions through their use. If you were to seek repentence this would be a different matter entirely but there is no guilt in your heart for what you have done or the methods you use and therefore your words are shadowed by deceit and will always be as such until you accept the light."
Satisfied with the message Finian makes his way to the tavern.
Valez approachs the scribbles left on the town post. He eyes the writings and whispered to himself "Glib?" He chuckled to himself wishing he could have seen with his own eyes what autrocities Akon things she perpetrated. Why apologize he thought? He reached to his side and produced a small curved dagger from his belt. He pricked his finger and drew a red line across Blisdon's note. He licked the excess blood from his finger and took a step back. He bowed to the sign and walked off.
Several minutes after the post had been settled in it's place, The now fully clothed Shaman began to make his way from one end of the time to the other, his satchel bulging many with various glowing crystals and herbs as he puffed nonchalantly on a rolled cigarette of herbs and dried leaves.
As he passed ,Blisdon's greenish-amber eyes casually scanned and drifted from one line downwards to the next. As if his eyes were watching a feather slowly drift from left to right as it descended from the sky.
Though as he read, The uordeq's face slowly became more and more contorted with dissatisfaction and rage, His nose flared and his eyebrows arched themselves high, as if they each were one of the mighty wings on a hungry bird of prey.
"By me' ancestors twisted beards...." Swore Blisdon, His dwarven accent bleeding out in his state of frustration. "Somethings gotta be done about this damned travesty..."
Producing a long strip of parchment from his satchel, he quickly goes to work scribbling something onto it's brittle surface before tacking it across Akon's own half-hearted apology. Stretching the strip of paper diagonally so that it would properly fit.
"HER NAME WAS GLIB. IF YOU WEREN'T SO BUSY WITH UNAPOLOGETICALLY MOLESTING HER ROTTEN CORPSE, YOU WOULD HAVE HAD THE TIME TO LEARN IT.
WEAK WORDS FOR THE WEAK OF CHARACTER."
"Don't say you're sorry now, Goddamnit. By the fucking four don't say you're sorry now." Grumbled the dwarf to himself as he tacked the strip of paper over The unapologetic apology. "You twist her body, Proudly ripping away her dignity from every corner of refuge that you could find it in...."
The Shamans voice was now seething in anger as he walked away. Still grumbling to himself as he made his way into the tavern.
"You say you're SORRY!? fucking sorry? Cheap words when it's been so long ago. they cost nothing now to be said."
The once-dwarf had sworn off alcohol for the forseeable future, But now; The Shaman needed a drink like a flower needed water.
