A twine-bound copy of the newspaper falls from a passing caravan. The headline reads, "Mystery Abounds in Local Election! Results Are In!"
Spyder wasn't too far behind Pelle. She hadn't really been following him, but she was close enough to hear the results. She picked up the paper to read for herself.
"The sketchy hat guy....huh. At least it wasn't he-who-deals-with-goblins, I suppose." She touched a finger to her chin. "He did say he didn't remember anything after he put his new hat on. I wonder how sketchy hat guy enchanted those hats."
Poppy not being far off from either of the two catches the tail end of there conversation " Huh, so the hat guy won?'' She said seeming a bit surprised. "Maybe, we were working for the wrong gnome. It would seem the hat sales man always had the upper hand." She said laughing to herself before continuing on with her way.
On his way to do assorted activities throughout town, the riven notices the newspaper that had decded to free itself from the caravan. Picking it up, he notices the election results are in. "Oh, this will be good," Pelle said to himself as he quickly reads on.
