Glimmer reaches Wreynn's cabin quickly, and quietly in the dead of night. She barrels through the door whispering 'Uncle Wreynn! UNCLE WREYNN! You gotsta gets uppies! Ohhhhwiiiiieee! Gets ups Gets ups Gets ups!" Glimmer lights a lantern and begins making a pot of tea. She flits to Wreynn and jumps dead on top of him saying "This is so importants and you gotsta gets uppies NOOOOOOOOW!" Glimmer politely rights herself and stands beside Wreynn's bunk, popping a delectible treat into her mouth and going stoicly quiet.
Glimmer speaks in a whisper, about three inches from Wreynn's ear. 'Akon has hired me to find Alyial. She wishes to speak with him. She uttered some sort of threat against you and something about warning you off. So here I am. Warn Warn Warn! If your brother kills me this time, as he hasn't managed to do yet, please give me a proper burial in the mounds. Nobody threatens my Uncle Wreynn. Her apology at the post was my payment for this. And she has to bake me cookies every day for a month. I don't care what you do with the information, but I won't take kindly to threats. As to why she wants to consort with your brother, may she rest in hell." Glimmer hands a cup of freshly poured warm to to Wreynn, rights her emotions, and plops onto the table.
"Well, go find him then," Wreynn mutters, half conscious. "I guarantee you're not going to find him in my bed. That's for sure. And if you find him, don't tell me. I'd rather not know that he's still lurking about town. We've finished our business and I don't care to want to see him."
Wreynn pulls his covers back over his head and begins to drift back off to sleep. "As for Akon, I can take care of her with both daggers tied behind my back while blindfolded." Yawning, he finishes, "Feel free to have your tea, and fix the traps on the way back out if you don't mind."
Glimmer falls off the table in a fit of giggles, finishes her tea, and then sets about fixing all of the glorious traps set by her Uncle. "I'm quite aware of you capability to handle yourself appropriately should the time come, but a little hint here and there never hurt anyone. As for your brother, I don't want to go, but I've been hired, so off I go." Glimmer rights the last trap, throws a pouch of cookies through the door, and sets on her way.
Wreynn wakes with a start as the cookies Glimmer tossed in the door on her way out set off a floor panel causing a loud ruckus of pots, pans, bells, and other miscelaneous chimes. Grabbing his dagger from beneath the pillow and another from under the mattress he assumes an alert and ready position, slowly stepping out of bed and approaching his bedroom door.
Peering around the corner, he allows his vision to adjust to the darkness. Calming himself and slowing is breath, Wreynn stands vigilent awaiting the impending threat. Time seems to stop for him as he patiently he waits, still hidden by darkness.
Nothing.
Still cautious, Wreynn leaves his room to investigate and reset the alarm. On the ground he sees the lone packet of cookies and he yells, "GLIMMER!!!!" As he returns to bed he mutters under his breat, "Damn fairies, every last one of them a pain in my ass."
A dark hooded head pokes through the window, brown eyes glittering as they light on the man returning to his bed, "Bad timing, 'Uncle Wreynn'?"
Katri had been listening for a fair few minutes, long enough to find out that Glimmer was going to find Alyial and Wreynn was a tired mess. She chuckled softly.
Wreynn groggily wakes up after the fairy spastically landed on him while he was sleeping in bed. Confused as to why none of the alarms or traps went off that should have at least alerted him to the presence of an intruder, he absentmindedly rubs his eyes and sits forward, clutching his sheets around him to protect what little modesty he may have.
"What could possibly be so urgent that you have to wake me up in the middle of the night?" Wreynn snarls, still half asleep while passively swinging at the fairy to push her away. "Are Ariekins and Ripper back? Are you trying to help me escape? Its been so nice to not have to worry about being shackled to my bed. No, no, that clearly can't be it." Still half asleep Wreynn fumbles around for the candle he keeps by his bedside to light the room a little while waiting to hear what was so urgent that he be woken up in the middle of the night.
