A large sheet of paper is nailed to the town post with an oversized stake.  On the sheet is the ironically neat writing of Nakigahara.  It reads:

WANTED: DEAD or ALIVE

Ravinna O'Kain

Information is OK too.

Akon walks up beside the deputy and eyes his posting, raising a tired brow. "Don't you think the dead or alive part is a bit much? I mean...you said you saw a whisp of light. I think all we need is information for now....yeah?" She pats Naki on the shoulder. "But you're doing good with the whole killing everything mentality. Much improvement. Don't loose that spark we all love you for. There are certainly things needing vanquishing." She throws a half wink to the Angori before making her way along.

"Well I don't care if they find this person dead or alive.  I have no personal grudge against the wisp, but if the body of Ravinna O'Kain turned up on my doorstep, I would't care either way."  He said with a smile and waves off the sheriff, sitting Indian style by the post, to wait.

Gaius approaches the posting and sees Nakigahara sitting nearby. "Greetings Nakigahara."

Gaius reads the newly-posted sign and looks back at Nakigahara. "What's the meaning of this post? I've not heard this name before. Has this person committed some crime?"

Zenphere walks up to the paper. He nods at Nakigahara. Zenphere reads it. "Dead or Alive? That is a bit.... Much.." Zenphere didn't know he was simply repeating the words of Akon. "Why not just search for him and when we find the suspect, question him.. It all depends what happens next... But aleast don't kill him.. We need more information.."

Seeing a crowed of people at the town post, Katri pauses in her search for Rasiri and Stiers. She made her way over and read the paper the Angori had just put up. She supressed a low laugh.
"Dead or alive, but information is acceptable? I like it. It reminds me of home," She nods in the direction of Nakigahara. "Still who is this person and  what have they done to warrant such a wanted poster?"

Lyrion passes by the crowd around the town post and raises an eyebrow. He approaches, saying, "Forgive me my vices, but I just can't help myself when it comes to juicy gossip." He pokes his head through the crowd and quickly inspects the bounty poster. "Ravinna O'Kain…?" he reads, frowning. "Can't say I've heard of her before. New criminal in town?"

Wallking towards the tavern zarmcher notices a crowd intrested he sees what the commotion is about, "Dead or Alive"? he wounders well this is quite strange the deputy is wanting a murder, well this is intresting.

Zenphere shakes his head in dissapointment.. He has not been seen with any kind of sword or weapon sheathed or unsheathed ever since he had arrived in town from his monthly visit. "Could it be what is causing such evil things to come to this Town?" Zenphere asked himself. He took a glimpse at Akon, then walked over to talk to her.

Taklinn walks up quickly, as if looking for someone in the crowd.  He reaches into his pouch and pulls out his flask to quench his thirst before reading the parchment.  He smiles and says "I heared someone say something about a sneaker coming into people's rooms as they slept.  I guess this confirms it.  I think Naki has it right Sheriff, I think ye should bring in the perpetrator and have them punished to the FULL extent of the law, but that is just me.  If ye need someone to help ye round up this person, ye need only ask and I would gladly bury me axe in its skull fer the piece of mind it would bring Jastrey.  Seek me out if ye need me, or don't, but I have other matters to attend to."  he says with a wink. Taklinn takes another swig and walks away down the road towards the farms..

Taklinn stops mid stride and turns to Naki's question.  "Well Fred, I heared a rumour that a similar marking was made on the town gate, but I ain't gone to investigate it yet.  Ye see, me days of public office ended when we got all of you strapping lads to take the job fer me, though I admit I did very little in me time as Deputy.  If ye want, I am walking out of town right now on an errand and ye can walk with me if ye care to, but I am gonna stay on me path from there and may not be comin' back to tell ye what I see fer awhile.  If ye choose not to, then I will tell ye if I see anything when I return, but I ain't coming back till me business is finished.  So Fred what say ye?"

"Ravinna O'kain was the name left on my bedpost after a wisp of light slipped into my cabin and disappeared.  I don't know who or what it is..."

He said matter of factly as he crossed his arms.  "I'm sure breaking and entering is against the law, and the punishment for it is death, right?  I figured the sign made sense."

Nakigahara turns to Taklin as he seemed to have knowledge of the incident, or one similar to it.  "Do you know what this is all about, beardy?"

Gaius looks seriously at Nakigahara. "I don't believe we made a rule against going into people's cabins, as long as nothing was taken and no one was harmed. I especially don't know how one would arrest a ball of light anyway."

"There isn't a law for breaking and entering?! Clearly there is no justice in Jastrey!  As Deputy I declare that breaking and entering, as well as everything else bad not covered on the list, are offenses punishible by death!"  Of course Nakigahara had no such power to do so.

Standing up to listen to Talkinn, Naki nods.  "Well then I feel that we should compare notes.  I can't wait for the execution!" He grins and begins to walk with Talkinn.  "I'll be back later if any of you people have information!"

"Then off we go tall one!" Taklinn says as he looks up to Fred and begins to walk with him and asking questions.  (OOG convo held in private chat).

Gaius chuckles to himself as the two walk away. He looks around at the others. "Well, I shall be going." Then he heads off down the road, lost in thought.

Zenphere returns to the post from the Tavern with a stressed look on his face. He sighed. "Taklinn and Nakigahara are making bad choices.. We need more information.. And what would killing do? What if he is only a member of a large guild?" Zenphere sighed again. He also extremely dissagreed with the fact of all the bad things that arn't listed in the laws of Jastrey have the consequence of death. Even if Nakigahara  can't make that up by himself, Zenphere dissagrees.

Katri waited patiently through the talking and gave a quiet chuckle. She would keep her eyes and ears open, but doubted she would hear much of this wisp of light. She turned and left the post, continuing her search for her elder brother and the paladin.

Blisdon wasn't far away from Zenphere when he made his wild speculations. Blisdon couldn't help but to chuckle wildly from behind his beard, his laughter becoming nearly hysterical right as the young knight inquires about the mysterious persons guild status. Yet he chooses not to linger long at the town post and continues onward further into town, still shaking his head with a grin on his face long after his fit of laughter passes.

Zenphere grins at the dwarf. "Such ignorant choices.. I wish order in Jastrey, and I also want peace.. Maybe Jastrey should stop fighting fire with fire.. We need to control these situations without our own sherriff instantly suggesting that we kill the man.. Information only.. That is my opinion.." Zenphere sits down next to the pole and nods off to sleep, figuring that taking a nap near the post shouldn't be a problem.

Akon walks back by the town post on her way back to her cabin, mumbling tiredly. "I didn't make that directive. The deputy did. We seek only information for now. Nakigahara shoul be changing that soon."

Zenphere jerks up as Akon explains. "Fancy?! Geese.. You scared the living chainmail off of me.. I am getting old ya know.." Zenphere says with a grin. he stands up. "Wait. So they are not going to kill the man? Good.. It is  little late to be wandering about, isn't it?"

Akon gives a tired smile. "Not for an Uordeq.....but I'll be on my way. Be well." She then walks towards her own cabin to retire.

Nakigahara wanders back after some time and rips down the poster.  He mutters abruptly, "Found her."  And he walks away.
