Harro! I am really interested in getting into LARP with you guys, the pictures seem really awesome, but enough pleasantries! I read the game rules and looked at the weapon guidelines and that didnt really sate my thirst for knowledge. Frst off, what classifies a weapon as a certain size (medium/etc)? And I'm not sure what soft materials are accepted, how accepted are Nerf's soft materials? I don't want to invest in/make a weapon and have it not meet game standards when I first go! ;_;
Basics weapons 5/8ths pipe insolation foam around 1/2 inch pvc and duct tap and 1 inch open foam at the top and bottom for thrusting tips for boffer weapons and latex weapons are usable but make sure to use the silicone spray because there are some people with allergies to latex.

Closed cell foam, camping foam, and stuff like that are used to make weapons. You can even buy some online but you have to be careful who you get them from because they can be a little to hard. Also nerf foam swords are a no no simply because they can hurt and break skin. A plot member or one of the game owners(Red names in chat) will be able to help you better. Hope I helped a little :)
