When in doubt, ask the audience!

I've run out of steeple material/in a writers block on where to go next with the Dhuroscht happenings, so I figured I'd write a post! Essentially I'd like to know if there's anything that seems lacking, either backstory or maybe holes in the story arc itself, really anything that you've come across that caught your attention in a way that you wanted to learn more. Feel free to comment on the forum or send me a PM. Any suggestions or idea is most welcome!

Lore wise, you could set an adventure in or near Gor Qalast, the great mountain in the Pit that's actually Dhuroscht's body. You could also do something with the Great Marsh, which was formed when Dhuroscht and Lemesin fought, or the Howling Canyon, both in Tarkalsys.

Since the Nameless Order ostensibly won the last engagement, you could maybe pursue a storyline about what they plan to do with the heart. Traditionally, they've had the most pure-hearted carry it around Diablo-style until it corrupts them and they need to be put down. Drakerim died a few years ago, as well, so the possibility of the Order seeking a way to end Dhuroscht forever isn't out of the question.

Destroying Dhuroscht: Ending the End-times

Pluses to all of Thad's suggestions.  I really don't know alot about the arc thus far.  Other ideas include:

The other immortals are not interested in ending the world yet and intervene with their followers to capture the heart.
Finding a way to banish Dhuroscht.
A cause for expanding the Great Marsh.
Somehow I like the idea of a void tornado.

Idea that Jacob had was having some people try and investigate/spy on some cultists. Gathering intel, that sort of thing. I'm not sure how it would work, be it RP post or an actual cinematic or encounter, but I think something like that would be fun, where the goal would be to avoid combat.

@ Morgan: I'd done something similar once it went over some what well. I've been wanting to some what break the mold of an adventure and write stuff more for the sneaky types where combat would be detrimental and avoiding confrontation would be better.

Maybe something along these lines: It is believed, when Etejeril created the Seven Deaths, he inscribed their secret names upon a tablet. Over time, this tablet came into the possession of the Brethren of Dhuroscht, who secreted it away in the Howling Canyon that it might never be used against their master or his ilk. You must delve deep within the cultists' stronghold, find the tablet, learn Dhuroscht's secret name, and tell it to the Nameless Order so his heart can be sealed away for all time.

Explore the politics of the Pit. Not everyone in the Pit is pro Dhuroscht.  Maybe even an entire race

As everyone is probably aware, I want to see more Organized Warfare... but thats because that is the kind of person I am. That includes stuff like, sieges, and spy missions and special objectives and stuff that you would see in a game or stuff like that. I dunno. Thats just me.
