This cinematic serves to propose actions, knowledge, and interactions of NPCs encountered by Corellus on his trip to Klasies. Responses are based on DJ's declared actions.
GUIDELINES: All information is given as guidelines, as otherwise this content would be much longer, and unwieldy; it is meant to convey information in as direct a manner as possible. It may be altered slightly for presentation, but factual information should not exceed what is provided herein.
1.1 – I Know Why the Caged Crow Sings
Finally, Corellus will request for aide to help take down the Inquisitors of Sardia. The already cold air of the chamber will become noticeably tense; as if there is much to say, but none want to say it.
2.1 – The Dalin En'Farim
Corellus: "He would do it subtle though, requesting to approach the bench, and delivering a small [brooch] that belonged to his mother who was a member of the special op organization. But because it's supposed to be a secret, it should never be addressed outright the name of it. That it is even being brought up at all in public, the king would likely take offense to that. Kind of like "you don't dare speak of them. I don't care how knowledgeable you are of them.""
Elder Einior will dismiss everyone else from the hall, to speak with Corellus alone.
3.1 – Craban
Elder Einior will ask Corellus where he got the brooch from, in a near demanding tone. After he explains that it was his mother's, the elder will relent somewhat, sitting for some time in silence, looking across to Corellus. The room will seem even more imposing, empty except for the two of them, and deafeningly quiet. Finally the Elder will ask Corellus what he knows of Nespania. Nespania was the capital of an Velysh kingdom that predated the Age of Ascension. The kingdom spread over what is now Rastemier, up into the peninsula in Rica, and down through Faukrenost Forest to the northern side of the River Avenyst. When the Way of the Pure took root in Sardia, the nearby Velysh were an obvious issue. Through the Vedrischtal the Theocracy led a campaign throughout Rastemier; between the Theocracy's attempt to destroy the Velysh, and the Velysh's not wanting to be found, there exists few records of what was once a great civilization. Asking any Velysh to face the Theocracy is no small task. The Elder will ask Ferithisia's blessings for Corellus, but the Klasies will not go to war with the Theocracy.
4.1 - Appendix of Corellus' Declarations
2. A display of honesty announcing that Syflare and Ivelis have cancelled one another out and are no more, despite knowing this may effect their decision in a poor manner
3. The request for aide to help take down the Inquisitors of Sardia. They are executing or enslaving any non humans or spellcasters outside of their order. (And checking with you for accuracy but a trusted source has stated that their paladin pledged their hearts to Hexadus aside from following Ressik.) A great number of the refugees are elves crying out to be saved."
"He would do it subtle though, requesting to approach the bench, and delivering a small broach that belonged to his mother who was a member of the special op organization. But because it's supposed to be a secret, it should never be addressed outright the name of it. That it is even being brought up at all in public, the king would likely take offense to that. "For external threats that put the Velysh in danger, the tribes from different places who report to the elven king all have a small number of elves trained for covert operations that sometimes unify, most clans only have two. They are identified by their bird related monikers and a mithral pin in the shape of that bird. The pins cannot be replicated as they were blessed by Ferithisia. The monikers get passed down by mentor/mentee, but without an elven immortal to bless the rank, no more official rankings can be made. Corellus' mother was one of two chosen from the Willowreath clan, an aquanesti clan in Rastemier who often intermingled with the Sehane Sunbloom clan of terranesti. Her moniker was Raven. So it's only when there is a threat that comes along, the members enter the Astral to discuss what to do for their people. If the King approves it, the members are sent out. Corellus would have none of this knowledge, only that his mother was part of something she was training him for, and that pin was an important part of it. He just recently went to Rastemier and found that pin in the remains of his old tribal grounds."
NOTE: This information may or may not reflect all of elven society, but was accurate for Corellus' tribe in Rastemier at least.
