A new Murphy!

As of 7:16 this morning, Aurora was admitted to the hopsital and looks to be going into labor. As Christian said - "Thudercats are go!"

Jonathan Patrick Murphy was born this morning 7lbs, 7oz. He is absolutely beautiful and healthy. Congratulations to the new family :)

AJ and I went and picked up the tired new daddy from the hospital to bring him home for some rest.  Both of their families came into town for the event and are looking in on the hospital.  The baby is beautiful and so sweet!  He barely cried while we were there.  Aurora and Jonathan get to come home monday :)

He was born crying like any other
And I thought to sing to calm him
But when I held him for the first time
I found myself speechless
There was nothing I could do or say
That could come close to the beauty I found in this moment

Jonathan Patrick Murphy was born on 9:15 am August 11th after roughly 24 hours of labor both active and "inactive" and mercifully only 37 minutes of pushing. He is happy, healthy and 7 lbs 7oz. He didn't cry near as much as i thought he would and responded to Batman (Long story) And though i badly want to see how well he would recieve it, everytime i try i get choked up cry and can barely speak.
Everyone says that you will never know what it is to feel unconditional love until you bring a child in this world. I underestimated what that meant...he has my eyes and it seems already that he has my sense of humor as when i held him for the first time after calming down he looked right at me and blew a rassberry at me.
No one has put it better than Blisdin, A new story begins. My story, Aurora's story, Jonathan's story, And above all else the continuation of a old clan of proud Irish fools

 Words can't begain to describe the love and happyness! I love you brother and i wish you the best i know you'll do the Murphy clan proud. I'm not one to have inspiring words, but im glad to be an uncle and Jay is one luck boy to have you and Aurora as parents. I love you guys with all i have!

Today has been a day of celebration of life for me. I Celebrated the life of my brother and sister today, for they have been with god for two years now. 
and right now this very moment I now celebrate the beautiful life you and Aurora have brought INTO the world. may you love cherish and protect him all the days of your lives.

Jonathan could not come home today because his blood sugar was fluctuating and they need to keep him at the hospital for observation. Hopefully its nothing but I am scared out of my wits.
