Monstrosity: Aranox

Submitted by Thad (He/Him) on Mon, 8/5/2019 at 8:33am

The aranox are dangerous, intelligent arachnids that weave vast, invisible webs in the darkness between aetheric realms. They prey upon travelers, remaining out of phase and unseen as they lie in wait for the unwary to wander into their traps. They also like to hunt in the mortal realm, where they can instinctively sense creatures who are out of phase.

Humanoid: Baevern

Submitted by Evan B. (He/Him) on Wed, 4/17/2019 at 2:19pm

The Baevern are a race of beaver-like beings who vanished from the world during the Shattering. They resemble giant beavers that became as tall as dwarfs upon reaching maturity. They possess a unique connection to the element of wood and are known to use it in every aspect of their culture. They even have a technique for making wooden armor as durable as steel, but the exact details have been lost to time.

Humanoid: Lightbringer

Submitted by Kly (She/Her) on Mon, 4/15/2019 at 10:38am

Lightbringers are Paladins in service to the dogma of Istensia, led by one of the White Mantles of the order - Cassandra du Soleil.
They aim to wipe out necromancy and the undead.  The motives of each individual may differ - some may do this out of pity for those risen in undeath, while others may vehemently despise these creatures and only wish to slay them to eradicate them from Orn.  Whichever the case, they command the light of the Prime to slay their enemies and heal their allies.
